The nuances of Neurodiversity – The necessity of writing an accurate narrative for Dysgraphia S4E1 (Entry Two)
Dr. Lynn Larsen and her husband of 30 years, Paul are parents to twins, Hannah and Zachary, age 23.
She has served as California’s Odyssey of the Mind volunteer state director for 7 years, after coaching their twins’ teams with Paul for 10 years.
While serving in her current role since 2004, as a professor of special education she set a new bar when she began training for pole vault two years prior to visiting insufferable academics, to compete at masters track meets.
She is currently ranked 3rd in the United States and 10th internationally for her age group.
Zachary Larsen is a political science PhD student at UC Riverside, and also serves as a mentor and advocate for students with disabilities.
Outside of academics, their areas of interest include railroads, photography, videography, music, queer theory, and “so bad it’s good” media!
