Jayson A. Brooks, JD was born in Columbus Georgia, however, was raised as a ” Army Brat,” having lived on or near military bases, in the United States and across Europe. Now retired, he spent most of his career in in Human Resources and Labor Law.
He was educated primarily in California public schools and went on to received a BA in History from Univerity of CA Los Angeles and a Masters in Public Administration from
California State University Los Angeles. He also earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law.
Mr. Benjamin L. Coles Jr. has been a certified surgical technologist for 39 years. He was also an instructor for a prominent school for Surgical Technology in Los Angeles California for fourteen years. Coles has served proudly as a member of the United States Air Force.
Mr. Robert A. Cooksey Sr. was born in Columbus (Muscogee County), GEORGIA in 1935. Later moving to CA, he single handedly integrated Atascadero High School in Atascadero, CA, where he graduated in 1952. In 1956, he married his life partner, Mrs. Ruby W. Ware
He later attended San Bernardino Valley College and Los Angeles city College, earning an Associates degree in Electronic Engineering, Real Estate and the Russian language (in his spare time); going on to study INDUSTRIAL ARTS and Cal state Los Angeles.
A retired Real Estate Appraiser for the Los Angeles County Assessors office, he resides in Los Angeles CA.
